S.C.A.I.O.N's Major Rework

S.C.A.I.O.N is undergoing a complete rework, as I am rebuilding it from the ground up. This reimagining introduces a new plot and narrative direction while maintaining a rich, expansive lore.

This marks a significant departure from its original version, which was first submitted to AmalgamAsh's Bakin Map Jam 2023. Despite this shift, the game continues to embrace the dystopian world it was always meant to explore.

AI-Generated Content

The game will incorporate AI-generated elements, including music, graphics, and voiceovers. My stance on AI-generated content is neutral, but I see it as a tool that can enhance creativity. However, for those who prefer a more "traditional" experience, I am considering an option to disable AI-generated content or potentially offering two versions of the game, one with and one without. That said, disabling it may mean missing out on some unique and immersive features.

Rest assured, all AI-generated content will be implemented thoughtfully and with careful consideration. It'll be a kind of balancing act, so decide for yourself (irrespective of your own stance on it).

Custom 3D Models

S.C.A.I.O.N will feature custom 3D models created specifically for the game, esuring a unique visual identity. These models will enhance both interiors and exteriors, making each environment feel distinct and purposeful.

Through my experiences with 3D modeling, I've learned a lot, and this will reflect in the quality and uniqueness of the assets. Many of the textures are also handcrafted by me, which, in some cases, takes even longer than creating the models themselves—but the result will be worth it.
